Career planning

Resource Library

In addition to the Career Services office, the Psychology Department has a number of resources (more details below) for students interested in doing internships or those interested in pursuing graduate studies in psychology. We have created a small Psychology Resource Library to keep this information. The library is located on the second floor of Watson Life Sciences Building in the waiting room outside of room WAT 201. These resources must stay in the library, but students may use them Monday-Friday (8:30am - 5pm).

Please contact the departmental assistant, Mrs. Duncan ( x2445), if you are interested in looking through these materials.

Internships

Students from our department have done a number of different internships in the Charlotte area (and some outside the area).  Some of these internships have been for credit as a practicum (PSY 290).  Below you will find a list of some places students have worked.  More information is available in the Psychology Resource Library (see Mrs. Duncan).
