John Kello

Biography:

      John Kello has been a member of the Psychology Department since 1974. He obtained his B.S. in psychology from Old Dominion University, and the M.A. and Ph.D. from Duke University. Dr. Kello teaches and conducts research in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. His courses include General Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and a seminar on The High Performance Organization.
      Currently, Dr. Kello's research interest focuses on self-directed work teams in manufacturing settings, and the application of the strategies of team-based "work redesign" to the nuclear industry and the airline industry.
