Julie Grubbs '08
Julie Grubbs is a sophomore Music major and recipient of the J. Estes Millner music scholarship from Plymouth, Minnesota. She has been playing cello for 11 years, performing solo, chamber, and orchestral work around the Twin Cities.
At Davidson, she enjoys taking private lessons, playing in the orchestra, and performing with her piano trio, in addition to singing with the Davidson College Chamber Singers and the co-ed a cappella group, Androgyny.
Julie hopes to combine her love of music and the Spanish language by continuing her cello studies abroad next semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina and after graduation.
