The Davidson College Chorale

The Chorale is a 32-36 voice group open to Davidson College students by audition. This group will focus on those works which are either unaccompanied or use keyboard and chamber ensemble accompaniments.

The Chorale rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 4:00- 5:45 pm.

Auditions

Fall 2007 choral auditions will take place on August 27-30, 2:00 - 6:00 pm, in Sloan 107. All students, even returning choir members, need to sign up for an audition slot.

Auditions consist of vocalizes, pitch matching and vocal flexibility exercises, and sight-reading tests. Audition sign up sheets are posted outside Dr. Sprague's office in Sloan 107, and will also be available at the College's Activities Fair on Sunday August 26.
