- We are an active and vital department in a nationally ranked top-10 Liberal Arts setting. More than 25% of the Davidson College student body participates in our offerings each semester by taking classes, performing in our ensembles, and taking private instrumental and voice lessons.
- If you are interested in music, you do not have to major or minor in music to take private lessons, participate in ensembles, or study with our outstanding scholar-teachers. Performance opportunities for students include Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, studio voice and piano recitals, opera scenes and chamber music.
