The Davidson Summer Program at Cambridge

Limited to thirty students, the Davidson Summer Program at Cambridge focuses on the history and literature of late 18th- and 19th-century Britain. Students may receive credit for either English 370 or History 390.

All English majors are encouraged to consider participating in the Davidson Summer Program at Cambridge University during the summer after either their sophomore or junior year. Students may elect to receive either English or history credit for the summer course, which lasts from early July to mid-August at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, and focuses on the history and literature of England during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. The director of the program is Dr. Vivien Dietz, Associate Professor of History.
